Our Philosophy

Brisbane General and Laser Dentists, previously known as GD Johnson Dental Centre, was established with patient care being our number one priority. The stigma towards dentistry has been around for way too long and should be changed. This is our commitment, to change the way people perceive 'the dentist'.

We aim for high quality patient care with a focus on listening to our patients and their needs. We pride ourselves on treating every individual the way we would want to be treated and how we would treat our own family. Our practice is like our home and we would like everyone to feel safe and comfortable in it. Every patient has the freedom to express their needs and ideas. Every treatment plan is then uniquely tailored. Treatments are always explained, ensuring our patients are well informed. Dentistry does not have to be expensive; we will always help think of ways that will work with your budget.

We offer dentistry using traditional methods, but we're really passionate about laser dentistry. We have been using lasers for at least 20 years and have seen continuous improvements in laser technology over that time. We strongly believe laser dentistry is a great alternative to more traditional dental techniques.

There's a degree of fear and negative stigma associated with dentistry and that's where we believe laser dentistry steps in; typically providing more patient comfort and improved results and healing.

We want to spread the word and our love for lasers, to show everyone that dentistry is heading in a new and exciting direction.
